The Area Construction Quality Manager will play a critical role in overseeing quality management processes across designated construction scopes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards.

The Area Construction Quality Manager will play a critical role in overseeing quality management processes across designated construction scopes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) during the construction phase for assigned areas.
- Supervise site quality control activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and approved procedures.
- Coordinate third-party inspections, audits, and manage non-conformances to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the focal point for quality-related matters with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify quality risks proactively, contribute to constructability reviews, and recommend mitigation measures.
- Support contractor and supplier qualification processes, ensuring traceability and compliance of critical materials and fabrication activities.
- Monitor and report quality performance, trends, and KPIs in alignment with the Project Construction Quality Manager and Project Management Team.
- Promote a strong quality culture across construction teams, reinforcing accountability and awareness at all levels.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in quality management within offshore oil & gas construction projects, particularly FPSO developments.
- Demonstrated experience managing quality on large-scale, complex offshore construction projects.
- Strong understanding of FPSO design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Proven ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and suppliers in a dynamic project environment.
- Experience in quality audits, inspection coordination, and non-conformance management.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commitment to health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to fabrication yards or offshore locations as required.
- Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for working in international project environments.
