- Hourly rate of $90 - $100 per hour + super on a 6 month initial contract
- Dedicated NES Fircroft contractor support team during your assignment
- You are an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and WA legislative requirements.
- You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and compliance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and support.
- Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions collaboratively.
- Comfortable reviewing and approving technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
- Provide electrical guidance and technical support to Engineering, Project Managers, and Maintenance teams within I&S.
- Review and approve electrical standards, specifications (including development), drawings, and procedures for Transmission & Distribution network assets and electrical assets in I&S areas.
- Evaluate changes to electrical system modifications and approve all engineering electrical sign-offs for Management of Change.
- Develop and coordinate electrical technical audits to ensure compliance with WA legislation and BHP specifications.
- Create and distribute electrical safety and improvement alerts to WAIO stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement of electrical assets through collaboration with site teams and vendors.
