The Opportunity We’re looking for two experienced Maintenance Improvement Specialists to support a major uplift in Maintenance Controller capability within a leading mining operation.
These roles sit at the intersection of operations, maintenance, and digital systems, focused on turning asset health insights into real, measurable improvements on site.
You’ll play a key role in embedding new ways of working across operations, maintenance , and site-based teams, helping transition a complex program into business-as-usual operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead cross-functional Practical Problem Solving (PPS) and structured system reviews
  • Translate signals (alarms, asset health data, work management outputs) into actionable maintenance plans
  • Develop and embed standardised workflows, playbooks, and decision frameworks
  • Drive Management of Change (MoC) across systems, teams, and sites
  • Define and track performance and value metrics
  • Act as a key interface between various stakeholder groups
  • Influence and align stakeholders across functions outside of your direct control

What You’ll Bring
  • Trade or Engineering qualification- Electrical
  • maintenance experience across fixed plant and mobile plant. 
  • Strong technical knowledge across:
    • OEM equipment
    • Maintenance and asset management systems
  • Proven experience in:
    • Management of Change (MoC)
    • Complex improvement or transformation initiatives
    • Cross-functional stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive outcomes in a matrix environment
Highly Regarded
  • Exposure to PLCs / SCADA systems
  • Experience with 1SAP and maintenance work management processes
  • Background in Root Cause Analysis, PPS, or asset health optimisation
  • Experience in T1 operations
  • Condition monitoring experience
