Rate: $28–$35/hr

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Welder to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and standard procedures. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
Rate: $28–$35/hr
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 12-hour shifts: 6 AM–6 PM and 6 PM–6 AM
- Rotating: 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Welder to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and standard procedures. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
- Prepare components for welding by clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, and grinding.
- Inspect and detect faulty operations of equipment and materials.
- Examine finished work for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools commonly used in the welding trade.
- Apply principles of the Manufacturing System to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures.
- Physical stamina to work long shifts and handle heavy materials.
