We’re looking for an Operational Readiness Planner to join a major projects team in Perth. This role is primarily office-based with occasional site visits to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations throughout project phases.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in preparing maintenance strategies, asset data, and operational processes for a seamless transition from project delivery to operations. Your focus will be on integrating assets and activating operations through structured readiness processes, stakeholder engagement, and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with planning, finance, execution, and master data teams to set up SAP parameters for new assets.
  • Validate task lists and loadsheets for corrective maintenance and tactical information.
  • Conduct workshops with reliability and planning teams to review and endorse strategies.
  • Create SAP technical object structures and functional locations.
  • Develop preventive and corrective maintenance task lists and obtain stakeholder endorsement.
  • Assist with BOM creation and activate maintenance plans prior to commissioning.
  • Maintain asset integration registers and prepare handover documentation.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong understanding of asset management principles and operational readiness processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6, and SAP (essential).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience conducting workshops and driving alignment across teams.
  • Background in Mining, Oil & Gas, or Heavy Industry projects.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Master Data Management and ERP integration.
