Job Title: Tool Crib Technician
Location: 14910 Airline Rd Rosharon, TX 77583-7900
Duration: 1-Year
Rate: $22.50/hour ($2.00/hr differential for 3rd shift)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (40-hour work week)
Description:
The Tool Crib Technician is responsible for performing technical duties associated with Subsea Completions Manufacturing Facility (SCMF) Production tool crib.
Responsibilities:
· Polish Tooling using a lathe
· Mold various parts for Robot End of Arm tooling
· Operate 3D Printers
· Maintain tooling inventory for production manufacturing
· Use Work Order Travelers to stage tooling for production
· Maintain Production tools and equipment
· Dimensionally inspect diameters of parts
· Perform troubleshooting and diagnose assemblies for defects and repair
· Rebuild mechanical assemblies
· Ensure ability to: read blueprints and identify components
· Maintain critical spare inventory for production facility equipment, employee performs regular inventory counts
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment
· Operate surface grinder to resurface scarred tooling
· Operate hydraulic press for press fit assemblies
Experience and Skills
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Certifications
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card preferred but not mandatory
