1st Line Desktop Support – 12 Months Contract – Basingstoke (Hybrid)

£15.21/hr inside of IR35
3 Dasy on site 2 Days remote
37.5 hr week 


Client is looking for a candidate with 1 or 2 years experience.

1st Line Desktop Support Key Objectives/Deliverables:
 
  • Provide global support for Surface Hubs, MTR devices & Traditional AV hardware (Crestron, AMX, Poly extra)
  • Take ownership of Incidents for the Modern Meetings team.
  • Ensures all relevant Modern Meetings teams, Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met, & all incidents are updated accordingly within the ticketing system (Service Now)
  • Take ownership of identifying & following-up on problems with devices.
  • Ensure you follow the documented escalation process.
  • Manage communications by providing updates to IT site service leaders.
  • Support & use current & future AV management tools. XIO Cloud, MMR, Logi Sync & QSC Reflect.
  • Provide maintenance & support on devices & management tools as needed.
  • Manage relationship & integration with backend support team & global service provider.
  • Ensure you follow change management procedures.
  • Be willing to travel to other sites worldwide if required.

1st Line Desktop Support Deployment / project Responsibilities
 
  • Review new device firmware, MS Teams features & communicate to the business as needed.
  • Manage room surveys as required, both virtually for your region & physically for your local offices.  
  • Take ownership of new standard meeting room equipment install projects.
  • Perform new technology reviews & testing as requested.
1st Line Desktop Support Desired Skills & Experience:
 
  • First line desktop support experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Surface Hubs
  • Previous experience in Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability & interest in delivering Collaboration, AV, & digital workplace technologies.
  • Able to work self-sufficiently & manage self-set tasks & objectives.
  • Ability to work alone & within team environment.
  • Ability to challenge convention & think creatively.
  • Installation & Commissioning experience with MTR systems
