Do you have 1st/2nd Line Desktop Support experience, and are you seeking a new job in Crawley? NES Fircroft is helping a company in the IT sector find a Desktop Support, for 6 months contract, inside of IR35.

As a Desktop Support, you will be the first and second point of escalation for the resolution of customer PC related incidents, requests or changes as per the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will troubleshoot and resolve PC incidents and perform IMAC (install, move, add, and change).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC incidents
  • Perform IMAC (install, move, add, and change)
  • Stage PCs
  • Hardware and software maintenance and support
  • Coordinate with Break/Fix vendor for hardware repair

To apply for this Desktop Support role, you will need a BSc and 1-2 years of experience or 5+ years of IT support experience. You will also require the following:
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft PC applications and PC hardware and software support
  • A minimum of 2 years of on-site support experience supporting multiple operating systems
  • Experience working within an IT customer service-focused environment
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of Ticketing systems preferred
