3D designer/draftsman
- Design and modeling of subsea steel- & GRP structures with corresponding piping layouts using 3D Autodesk Inventor software for project execution phase.
- From 3D models prepare design drawings for fabrication, approachlayouts drawings and perform necessary interface checks
- Prepare and develop schematics / P&ID for structures
- Cooperate and liaise with relevant stakeholders
- Understand design drivers given in relevant codes
- Support fabrication engineers in developing scope of works for fabrication
Qualifications:
- Technical education Bsc.in Civil- or mechanical engineering (Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education)
- Possess technical knowledge within design of steel structures
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Relevant software experience: Inventor
- Advantageous to have experience with design according to the relevant standards: NORSOK, DNV, Eurocode, ISO and ASME
- Experience with analysis and calculations is an advantage but not required.
- Well organized and systematic working methods
- Good communication skills
