Area Lead - Piping and Layout

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions is looking for an Area Lead – Piping and Layout who can help us succeed. 
 
What will you be doing?  
 
You will be working as an Area Lead together with other colleagues in the Piping and Layout department for Valhall project. The overall performance of engineering discipline activities as Area Lead and deliverables in the assigned scope, hereunder:
 

• Design development and detail engineering (E3D)
• Co-ordination with internal and external customers
• As built and LCI deliverables

We think you should have some of the following: 

 

• Offshore Greenfield experience
• Area Lead experience
• Good knowledge of E3D
• Detail knowledge of NORSOK and international design codes/standard for offshore industry.
• Have good communication skills and be a real team player.
• Able to co-ordinate with design team and contribute/ add-value in multidiscipline meeting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Language: English language oral and written
   

Work location:                Fornebu, Norway
