NES Fircroft has partnered with an international Oil and Gas service provider to source an Articifial Lift Technician (ARMO Technician) to fulfil a long-term contract opportunity based in Wellcamp/Toowoomba, Queensland.
 
Reporting to the AMO Supervisor the Artificial Lift Technician is the focal point of the workshop process for ALS from receipt to in-process and final release of product managed by Artificial Lift Systems. The role will commence on a 12-month contract, working Monday to Friday (8 hours/day) with the ability to travel to Wellcamp daily.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Inspection and assembly of Artificial Lift equipment, ensuring that all items are in compliance with our clients and customer requirements
  • Complete and verify inspection activities at all stages of the process from receipt to in-process and final release (visual, dimensional, etc)
  • Strip, inspection and repair of downhole equipment and cable.
  • Complete QAQC process following technical drawings where necessary.
  • Creates, maintains and records/reports for inspection activities
  • Identifies, reports and quarantines non-conforming product
  • Work cross-functionally with support functions to drive excellence in product quality.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of additional quality reports as required
  • Ensure safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulations
  • Ensures that all aspects of Quality are maintained in line with the company Quality Policy
  • Complete additional quality responsibilities as allocated
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma Qualification.
  • Mechanical Fitter background desirable
  • Welding or Electrical qualifications desirable
  • Forklift and dogman tickets desirable.
  • 3 years industry &/or Inspection experience
  • Detailed knowledge of QAQC techniques and processes
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of current industry standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple issues / priorities while working towards agreed schedules and deadlines.
