Are you an Associate Director or Principal level Fire Engineer with the objective and drive of wanting to become a Director? 
NES have been engaged by a multi-disciplinary building consultancy to exclusively recruit several senior level positions; one of these opportunities is an Associate Director to continue the growth of their Fire Engineering capabilities. This position can be based in either Auckland, Wellington or the east coast of Australia.
This consultancy provide architectural, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management and building related engineering services. In addition they’ve recently acquired a fire protection  business that you’ll be collaborating with. They have a close-knit team that is delivering varying and intriguing projects throughout the commercial and high-density residential sectors.

They have streamlined and nimble processes in place resulting in the ability to get your job done effectively without too many reports getting in the way.
Within this role we’re seeking an ambitious, outgoing, and commercially-minded professional that has the capacity and knowledge to manage and mentor current staff members whilst having some delivery, business management and client management responsibilities. On the back of strong business successes across all business lines they’re able to implement an aggressive growth strategy and are seeking people that are willing to jump at this opportunity.
We’re seeking the following attributes:
  • 10 plus years’ experience within a Fire, Protection and Risk Engineering capacity within New Zealand or Australia.
  • Project experience within the commercial and/or residential sectors
  • An engineering degree related to fire engineering and building services
  • The ability to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A natural ability to identify new business opportunities
