We are lookingh for a Brownfield Construction Methods Engineer for our client who is in oil&gas industry and specialised in offshore an fpso. This position is located in the Rotterdam area and it's a 1 year contractor position with a possibility to extend it.

Job decription
As the Construction Methods Engineer you will be responsible from the Project Constructability processes and all
Construction deliverables during the WIN and Execution Phase.
You will assist the PMT in producing project specific documentation and transfer to Site for the
Construction and Completion phase.
You will adhere and participate to the implementation of the Project HSSE and Quality Plans.
Whilst on site you will be working along with the Construction Manager to lead the roll-out of the
monthly Life Saving Rules Campaign.

 

1. In order to create a safe working project culture, you are to:
1.1 Ensure that HSSE best practices are implemented in the design during Constructability
1.2 Adhere to the HSSE plan and enforce its implementation

2 In order to meet Group/Project Quality requirements, you are to:
2.1 Adhere to the Quality Plan and review and approve Yard ITPs and assist Supply Chain for
major packages
2.2 Enforce Group Quality Golden Rules
2.3 Interface with the site Quality Verification Manager
2.4 Give feedback on project quality issues to relevant stakeholders for implementation across
future projects 

3 In order to to achieve timely delivery of the Project from the Win to the Operate phase, you
are to:
Whilst in the office:
3.1 Participate to the Construction Execution Plan
3.2 Assist the PM in preparing and reviewing the Request For Quotation (RFQ) package
3.3 Participate to the Yard selection
3.4 Drive the Constructability process and issue the report
3.5 Coordinate the issuance of the Construction deliverables
3.6 Coordinate review and approval of Construction yard quality documentation
3.7 Coordinate the Welding Procedures Qualification Program with the Yard, Quality Verification
Manager and the Material Department

Whilst on site:
3.8 Ensure the interface between teams
3.9 Evaluate potential changes (MOC) prior to implementation and alert Construction Manager
accordingly
3.10 Review progress report, method statement, construction procedure and all day to day
technical clarifications
3.11 Coordinate processing of yard Construction documents and distribute to relevant Site
personnel for review and comment (set e-CDR review matrix accordingly)
