NES Fircroft are looking for an experienced Buyer for a EPCI contractor.
Location: Cassis
Start: September 2024
Duration: 6 months
Rate: € negotiable depending on experience. No travel allowance.
The mission is:
• Record purchase requisitions and collect requirements
• Benchmark of potential suppliers for the project in France and internationally complying with VCGP quality, safety and ethical standards
• Establish and validate bidder Lists
• Validate the budget, the required delivery dates in accordance with the schedule and the head of the project
• Issue tenders for materials, equipment, services and subcontracting
• Obtain quotes and clarify prices and deadlines ensure with the technician for the Verification and technical validation Follow up on clarification requests
• Check and negotiate contractual and commercial terms (price-guarantees-payment, indemnity clause or incoterm)
• Get the engineer's technical comparison table
• Establish the commercial comparison table for approval
• Contact details with the legal department and contract engineers for all negotiations
Contractual Terms and Conditions
• Prepare and have the procurement manager validate and issue the contract
• Establish purchase orders and launch KoMs
• Ensure the follow-up of orders up to commissioning, reporting and communication with project logistics as well as with all cross-functional players
• Initiate and coordinate inspections, as appropriate
• Check the compliance of supplier invoices and transmit them to the accounting departments
• Reference suppliers in the database
Selection criteria:
✓ Bac + 2 minimum
✓ Business School / Business Engineer
✓ Purchasing Training
✓ Between 2 and 5 years of experience
Skills:
1. English essential
2. Experience as a project buyer
3. Energy sector is a plus
4. Ideally have a technical background in generalist mechanics
5. Recognized negotiation
6. Mastery of an ERP and the office pack7. Mastery of commercial law and customs regulations;
8. Knowledge of the different tendering procedures;
9. Autonomy and organizational qualities;
10. Mastery of negotiation techniques;
11. Mastery of purchasing, inventory and distribution management techniques;
