- Provide prompt and accurate purchase of materials, packages, non-contracted services and fabrications via the ERP (SAP/GEP), as defined by Company Standards.
- Review and process purchase requisitions for goods/services.
- Conduct tender, evaluation and negotiations functions. (RFx)
- Obtain optimized pricing leveraging a total cost of ownership approach to make a positive impact on the company’s cost of supply.
- Provide daily support to stakeholders to ensure technical and delivery requirements are met.
- Participate in meetings with the Maintenance Planning Team to align on priorities and support work plans.
- Liaise with Logistics Specialist to quantify specific requirements.
- Liaise with Contracts Specialists to ensure alignment between materials and services.
- Liaise with Corporate GSS and Finance teams to ensure all purchase orders/invoices are paid in accordance with payment terms and Company Standards
- Resolve technical queries by collaborating with technical disciplines and suppliers.
- Provide procurement expertise and ERP (SAP/GEP) guidance to stakeholders.
- Actively engage with stakeholders and Contract Specialists to develop sourcing plans and strategies.
- Implement, manage, and support key purchasing agreements by measuring and monitoring performance.
- Proactively progressing and tracking supplier action on materials quotation requests and purchase orders for all materials.
- Support and maintain safe operations and comply with Internal Control Standards and other policies, procedure and legislative requirements.
- Support tactical and technical material & equipment sourcing and procurement.
- Participate and influence key stakeholder and supplier negotiations
- Provision of procurement status reports to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and provide statistical reports and measurements.
- Participate in and actively seek procurement synergy opportunities.
- Support procurement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure initiatives comply with Policies and Procedures.
- Adherence to Supply Chain Policies, standard and the Code of Business Ethics & Conduct
Required Skills/Competencies
- University Degree preferred in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business disciplines
- Minimum 5+ years of Supply Chain/ Purchasing experience preferably oil and gas materials focused
- Enhanced software application skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, GEP, and SAP)
- Extensive Supply Chain Management experience with focus on Buying and Expediting
- Commercial experience / expertise, and strong negotiation planning skills
- Effective time management & strong organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail & adherence to quality work
- Effective interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build & maintain effective, trusting relationships with internal stakeholders. Strong influence, facilitation & networking ability.
