Job Description:
Within the Material Engineering Department (MAE), the candidate will be in charge of:
  • Proposal phases and FEED/EPC Projects, for the following activities. During Proposal phases:
  • Review and analysis of Contract documents
  • Clarifications to Client and Qualifications
  • Writing of Conceptual design cathodic protection philosophy
  • Evaluation of required material quantity

During FEED/EPC Projects. Production of Cathodic Protection ENG documents such as:
  • Design cathodic protection philosophy / Material specification / Design calculation notes / Material requisition
  • Site survey specification / Precom/com procedures / Reports
  • Participate to Technical Bid analysis of Material Suppliers and inspection, in writing of typical, general arrangement, schematic drawings, in coordination with CP specialized draftsmen.
  • Participate to site Survey / to the follow-up of Construction, Precom and Commissioning activities with dedicated teams
  • The knowledge and ability to design cathodic protection systems by sacrificial anodes and impressed current, acquired in various onshore and offshore major Projects as a Contractor, is mandatory, as well as site experience in follow-up of construction and commissioning.
  • Known for your involvement, with a minimum of 10 years work experience in Cathodic protection, you would like to integrate our Teams.
  • Ability to communicate with other disciplines, Suppliers and Client with fluidity is mandatory.
  • Autonomy, rigor, dynamism, taste for teamwork and ease in communication are a must.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To carry out this service, the Contractor must provide the skills described below:
  • Master level, Engineer in Technical Sciences, with a specialization in cathodic protection.

SCHEDULE:
In order to access the input data and to facilitate exchanges with people with in-depth knowledge of the project, the service will be carried out within the team integrated into the offices of Saipem SA + MISSIONS (including BOSIET (OPITO certified) + MFC payable by the service provider and obligatory at the start of the mission + VISA for foreign consultant to be sent with all the complete file).
