Chemical Engineer

We’re looking for a Chemical Engineer to join a well-established chemical manufacturing business. If you’ve got a few years of industry experience and want to get stuck into process improvements, plant modifications, and technical problem-solving, this could be a great fit.

The Role:

• Lead plant modifications, from design to commissioning.
• Carry out hazard assessments and HAZOPs.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Work with project engineers on plant design and costing.
• Support process improvements and new developments.
• Provide technical input on safety, materials, and processing methods.

What We’re Looking For:

• Chemical Engineering degree (essential).
• At least 3 years’ industry experience in a similar role.
• Practical experience with process troubleshooting and commissioning would be a plus.
• Knowledge of COMAH, DSEAR, SIL/LOPA, and relief system sizing is a bonus.
