Role – Chief Mechanic
Department – Operations
Section – Rig Site (Land Rig)
Chief Mechanic reports directly to Preventive Maintenance Manager responsible for performing duties in the maintenance & repair of mechanical equipment, parts ordering & administaration work of PMS system.
Mechanical Engineering University Certificate or as a min.Industrial Mechanics Certificate or equivalent, with min work exposure to drilling field with at least 3 yrs min drilling field exposure as A Chief Mechanic.
Able to read & understand pneumatic & hydraulic schematic drawing to troubleshoot the equipment in case fo any failure.
Has the ability to work independently under general supervision of Preventive Maintenance supervisor, setting proper & safe work example to personeel under his supervision.
