Our client, an oil and gas operator, requires a Civil Engineer to join the team on a contract basis.
Description of assignment including tasks and responsibilities
Responsible for follow up of civil related activities in the H2H project

Description of assignment including tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure Compliance with Company requirements
- Respond to Contractors TQ's in due time
- Review and comment on various technical drawings and documents in due time
- Ensure quality deliverables from Contractors
- Participate in meetings with Company management, contractors and partners
- Follow-up on Geophysical & Geotechnical and Environmental surveys works
- Review, interpret and comment of survey data delivered by Contractor
- Review and comment on survey reports delivered by Contractor
- Liaise with local communities, permitting, etc.,
- Make recommendations for survey work optimization
- Check survey quantities for Contractor's invoicing
Responsible for follow up of civil related activities in the H2H project
- BSc or MSc Degree in Civil Engineering and knowledge Geotechnics/Surveying
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in comparable environment and preferably in the UK
- Experience from civil and structural engineering design follow-up
- Familiar with the applicable British and International standards such as EC related to civil engineering
- Have HSE competencies and able to implement Company ZERO harm requirement in design and construction
- Familiar with geophysical & geotechnical and environmental survey techniques
