We are currently recruiting a Civil Structural Engineer with marine experience on an initial 18 month contract (until 31/12/2024) for a Major Oil & Gas operator in Perth, WA.

KEY DUTIES:
- Responsible for the inspection and integrity of civil, structural & marine assets.
- Develop inspection scopes for efficient execution, identifying appropriate degradation types and inspection techniques.
- Support maintenance planners & schedulers to ensure inspection scopes are accurately planned and scheduled to meet due date requirements.
- Provide technical engineering support and recommendations to the site inspection team.
- Review inspection reports, assess and accurately classify any defects.
- Develop and deliver appropriate resolution plans for site execution, to rectify any identified issues.
- Development and delivery of civil & structural fitness for service assessments.
- Responsible for the development and delivery of fabric maintenance plans for site execution.
- Ensure inspection strategy execution aligns with Company and regulatory standards.
- Visit site locations (occasionally as required) to support development and execution activities.
- Top 3 Must have skills:
- Degree in civil / structural engineer
- Experience in developing inspection scopes and developing resolution plans to rectify any identified issues
- Executing civil & structural fitness for service assessments.
- Nice to have skills: Offshore experience
- 5-12 years experience
