CNC Machinist I, II & III

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Runs multiple CNC machines concurrently.
  • Reads and interprets written instructions, technical writings, and specifications.
  • Uses basic hand tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Executes the setup and tool changes on CNC machines.
  • Carries out minor maintenance on machines when required.
  • Lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Inspects finished product to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • May require standing for long periods at a time.
  • Reports production updates to supervisor.
  • Fills out necessary paperwork for assigned area.
  • Maintains a clean work area.
Education:
 
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of CNC training preferred.

Experience/Skills:
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • Experience with machine setups and tool changes.
  • Experience performing quality inspections using precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
