Role: Offshore Pipeline Coating Supervisor
Start date: June/July 2023

Role Requirements

• To supervise a high degree of coating/Field Joint Coating activities during offshore pipeline laying
• To ensure coating quality by technical inspections as per defined Quality Control plan
• To ensure that coating/FJC works are carried out by Contractor and Subcontractor in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• To achieve maximum technical benefit by ensuring international standards and project specifications are maintained on the facilities.
• To provide technical guidance to contractor and subcontractor work teams.
• To provide a high degree of coating/FJC during the offshore pipelaying
• Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP).

Activities

HSE
• To achieve and to make achieve to the personnel, contractors / subcontractors the HSE rules of the company.
• To achieve the goals and annual aims of the Project.
• To participate in HSE audits and visits to construction sites.
• To raise anomalies cards for any unsafe/safe situation observed

Technical
• To witness the different PQT for coating and FJC
• To participate in the Non-Conformance reports issuance.
• To monitor storage of coating/FJC products
• To Review and approved the material certificates,
• To ensure that CTR’s personnel are qualified for the task they’ve been assigned to.
• Review and approve the different inspection report issued by the Contractor on daily bases
.
Qualifications & Experience Required

• Confirmed coating/FJC expertise, with at least 10 years’ experience in large international projects.
• Painting and Coating/FJC qualification level II (NACE, BGAS or ACQPA-FROSIO qualified).
• Offshore experience is required on pipeline coating/FJC and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN, ISO, ASTM, NACE and SSPC
• Fluent in English.
