Commercial Manager – Commercial Construction – Tier 2
This role represents a great opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to grow into a Commercial Manager. Our client is a well-established commercial construction company based in the CBD. They have enjoyed continued growth for many years. As a result, this company has an urgent requirement for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team on a full-time basis to then progress into a Commercial Manager role.

The responsibilities of this role are:
- Manage all contractual and commercial aspects of projects
- Understand contract ramifications and draw on your own strategic and commercial thinking to run short, medium and long-term strategies
- Apply a proactive risk management approach to identify and anticipate current and potential risks, develop risk mitigation strategies as required
- Contribute to and review project reporting and financial management as required
- Using a relationship-driven approach, you'll work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent client relationship building, problem-solving, advanced negotiation and leadership skills
- Ability to read and understand contract documents, drawings and scope
- Advanced skills in procedures for project contract administration, general business administration and project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, or other associated disciplines
