NES Fircroft are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading wind turbine manufacturer to work on a selection of exciting projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician to join a leading renewable energy business on a FIFO roster.

The role:
  • Make sure that the commissioning of Wind Turbines is fully in compliance with requirements
  • Communicate with Site Installation Manager to make sure that the commissioning issues could be solved promptly
  • Coordinate with team to make sure that the electrical installation is fully in compliance with Australia standard
  • Communicate with Site Installation Manager to make sure that the electrical installation issues can be solved promptly
  • Raise NCRs in the FEMS for feedback, record and track them
  • Communicate with Wind Turbine suppliers for electrical equipment issues
  • Liaise with Lead Commissioning engineer to manage commissioning QA documents where required
  • Communicate with SCADA engineers and grid engineers for installation and commissioning of wind turbine subsystem ( e.g. Fire alarm, CMS++, VMP, SCADA, etc)
  • Commissioning software application and software version record and tracking
  • Record commissioning issues and provide improvement suggestion to Site Installation Manager
  • Work with the commissioning subcontractor engineers as a team for achievement
  • Record all the electrical installation and commissioning issues and resolution for lesson learned of the wind turbines
  • Licensed Electrician in state
  • FIFO roster - 2/1
