We are seeking a Commissioning Manager (m/f/d) to lead the start-up and commissioning of a new phosphorus recovery plant near Leipzig. The project involves taking full responsibility for the commissioning of a facility for sludge processing, ensuring safe and efficient start-up. Occasional travel to Sweden may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning & Coordination: Develop commissioning and start-up plans with engineering and suppliers; ensure timelines, quality, and safety requirements.
- Execution: Supervise tests, commissioning activities, and performance checks; ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Quality & Compliance: Conduct inspections and audits to ensure design and quality standards are met.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues; coordinate closely with engineering teams and suppliers.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain logs, test results, and performance data; prepare final and improvement reports.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact for commissioning activities;

Requirements:
- Knowledge of inorganic chemistry, particularly handling acids and alkalis
- Experience with precipitation processes and material separation
- Experience in wastewater treatment is a plus, but not mandatory
- Fluent in English; German is beneficial
