Our client is an independent power producer, who develops, constructs and operates own wind and solar energy portfolio. Due to further expansion, we are looking for an experienced and motivated energy trader. 

  • Adequate education;
  • Familiarity and understanding of technical and legal regulations;
  • Well developed analytical skills;
  • Experience in the area of electricity trading/analysis/portfolio - at least 3 years;
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, programming languages (Python, VBA) are an assets;
  • High pace of decision-making;
  • Ability to deal with non-standard market situations;
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and verify their correctness;
  • Independence, accuracy and very good organization of work;
  • Knowledge of the English language at a communicative level in an English-speaking environment;
  • Electricity trading on the OTC markets and Polish Power Exchange;
  • Optimization of the electricity portfolio on the Spot & Intraday market (portfolio of wind farms, solar power plants, energy storages);
  • Fundamental analysis of domestic and international energy markets: electricity, gas, CO2, oil, coal;
  • Preparation of market analyses;
  • Creating and developing own trading strategies on the Intraday/Spot/Future market in the field of electricity;
  • Creating and developing tools to support trading and portfolio optimization;
  • Submitting nominations to the relevant electricity market operators;
  • Participation in current and ad hoc external and internal reporting;
  • Periodic preparation of market risk reports;
  • Calculation and ongoing monitoring of selected risk ratios and their impact on the Company's result;
