NES Fircroft are working with a Tier One Miner, local to the South West Region in Western Australia, to source a Community Education Officer. 

Working 16 hours a week with an occasional Saturday, you will be educating School and University Groups, Government, Business and Industry Groups, Community Groups, current and future employees and other Stakeholders about the Mining Organisation via in person or virtual tours.  The Community Education Officer assists in ensuring key stakeholders are informed about the Mine and its operations, activities, and achievements.

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
  • Experience in Education, Community Relations, Communications or Tourism with a good understanding of the mining industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Planning and project management skills would be advantageous
  • Current WA Drivers’ Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Local to the Peel Region, WA
  • Able to provide a National Police Clearance
  • Have full Australian Working Rights
