This is 12 months contract with potential extension and full-time resident working in Seoul, South Korea and the client will provide Visa, flights, accommodation and other benefits directly. (Accompanied / Family Status available)

Job Description

1. Mechanical Engineering
- Lead and supervise the commissioning process of ammonia plants, ensuring all equipment and components are designed, installed, tested, and operated according to the operational requirements.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems that may arise during the commissioning phase, implementing effective solutions to prevent delays.
- Risk profiling.
- In-company training, Lessons and Technical Mentoring. 
- Coordination with the relevant internal department, Licensor, Vendor.

2. Support for Procurement
- Assisting in the preparation of technical specifications for equipment and materials, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Participating in the selection of suppliers and contractors, leveraging technical expertise to evaluate bids and capabilities.
- Overseeing the procurement process to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality materials and equipment.
- Preferential Treatment for QA and QC work during Procurement phase (Vendor shop dispatch may be required).

3. Value Engineering and Design Optimization
- Applying value engineering principles to identify and realize cost savings without compromising on quality or performance.
- Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance design efficiency, reduce project costs, and optimize operational costs.

- Preferential treatment for experienced Russian project performance
- Preferential treatment for experienced persons who have carried out projects applying equipment supplied by Indian, Chinese and Russian companies
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in commissioning, with a strong preference for candidates who have specific experience in ammonia plant commissioning.
- In-depth knowledge of ammonia production processes, systems, and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in plant design and commissioning.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
