Scope of Work:
• Driving Interfaces with E&C Project managers, Field Operation, and external
construction contractors
• Provide ongoing constructability input and efficiency recommendations for
Construction projects in E&C
• Ensure optimal purchasing/fabrication strategies for E&C projects
• Focal in E&C for construction contract management during offshore
execution phases
• Ensure by upfront awareness the optimal construction sequences, work plans
and selected methods for safe and efficient offshore project execution
• Develop requirements and procedures for construction contractors work
pack, process, and deliverables specification
• Assess competences and resource management of contractor’s construction
teams
• Provide assurance of completion of construction contractors work scope for
E&C projects
• Focal in E&C for daily support on assigned activities for construction teams
during offshore execution phases (daily follow up)
• Push contractors for timely completion of activities to meet project
milestones
• Manage specific construction contractors offshore work scope execution
during project lifetime.
• The position is responsible for driving optimal execution of specific work
scopes executed by contractors both on-and offshore in E&C
• Facilitate and chair of required review meeting with stakeholders (project
managers, external construction contractors)
• Driving force for achieving cost savings and optimal method implementation
for project execution in E&C
• Support Implementation of new way in E&C for project offshore execution
(tenders for external construction contractors)
• Significant improvement required of safety and operational performance
overall to match Group standards
• Be the driving force in E&C for offshore execution of modifications and
projects by using external construction contractors and be the interface
between onshore and offshore
• Good knowledge of technical rules and quality level required for these
activities.
• Ability to work with a large multinational team on-and offshore
• Ability to manage integrated teams. Good interpersonal and
communication skills
Background/Experience:
• At least 10 years’ experience in offshore construction execution activities
in industrial oil & gas context and project management.
• Experienced manager of multi discipline project execution and
documentation
