JOB TITLE: Construction Manager
REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager
BASED: Head Office in North East of England - Teesside
HOURS OF WORK: 37 hrs/week / flexitime - core hours Mon Thurs 9:00–16:00 Fri 9:00–12:30
NES Fircroft are recruiting on behalf of a well-known engineering design house for a Construction Manager on an initial 12-Month Contract Outside IR35.
Initially, you will be based in the head office but will be placed on site either on Teesside or Hull.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Background in Heavy Engineering/Chemical/Petrochemical Industries preferred
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
- English Language – written, spoken and technical
- Specification/report writing (preferred but not essential)
- Awareness of and compliance with Company’s Quality Management System procedures and requirements.
- Ability to design/work to Eurocodes British Standards and Codes of Practice
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES
- Good communicator
- Good interpersonal skills
- Versatility and flexibility
- Pro-active and self motivated
- Commercial awareness
- Professional and responsible attitude
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree minimum
- Additional equivalent Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status preferred
