Credit Contractor Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a credit risk function or related role with strong skill set at analyzing counterparty financials, industry trends, country risk research, and both business and market information

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

 

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

 

• Ability to prioritize with high organizational and time management skills

 

• Advanced and skilled with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

 

• Strong knowledge and understanding of language contained in credit related agreements (NDAs, Letter of Credits, Parent Guarantees, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed analysis of financial statements to develop counterparty risk profiles and recommending credit limits based on the analysis

 

• Negotiate security to establish credit limits that are unsupported by financials

 

• Work directly with customers to execute NDAs in order to obtain audited/interim financials for credit assessments

 

• Ad-hoc credit related projects
