Aker Solutions is looking for a Discipline Lead - Safety & Environment with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Trondheim and will be led from there.

Aker Solutions is looking for a Discipline Lead - Safety & Environment with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Trondheim and will be led from there.
Position Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Safety & Environment deliverables in studies.
- Develop and update safety philosophies and strategies.
- Evaluate impact on technical safety systems, equipment, area classification, fire protection, escape, and evacuation.
- Assess risk levels for various solutions, including qualitative analysis.
- Prepare safety design reviews, including HAZID and HSE/Layout reviews.
- Perform additional tasks as required in the scope of the role.
Skills and Levels Description:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant technical safety engineering experience in the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations, NORSOK S-001, and S-002.
- Familiarity with other relevant industry standards.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science or engineering-related field.
- Proficient in both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
- Strong communication and cooperation skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently.
