Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 15,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
Aker Solutions is looking for a Discipline Lead - Safety & Environment with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is based in Trondheim and will be led from there.
 
Position Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute Safety & Environment deliverables in studies.
• Develop and update safety philosophies and strategies.
• Evaluate impact on technical safety systems, equipment, area classification, fire protection, escape, and evacuation.
• Assess risk levels for various solutions, including qualitative analysis.
• Prepare safety design reviews, including HAZID and HSE/Layout reviews.
• Perform additional tasks as required in the scope of the role.

 
Skills and Levels Description:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant technical safety engineering experience in the Norwegian Oil & Gas industry or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations, NORSOK S-001, and S-002.
• Familiarity with other relevant industry standards.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science or engineering-related field.
• Proficient in both written and spoken Norwegian and English.
• Strong communication and cooperation skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently.
