The E&I Engineer will report directly to the Project Manager. They develop and interpret all electrical engineering design for equipment and materials and oversee all electrical and instrumentation and control system modification, installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities:
1. HSSE
  • Provide HSSE Leadership to Contractors through all phases of delivery in accordance with the site HSSE Policies and Procedures.
2. Design
  • Front end & detailed design of the Project.
  • Liaise with Site Design Office & Process Engineer to select appropriate material and equipment requirements and specifications.
  • Provide engineering input as required to the Process Engineers in preparation of data sheets.
  • Produce electrical and instrument scope of work for contractor.
3. Execution
  • Raise enquiry documentation, review tenders and raise order documentation for any electrical and instrumentation contracts / installations if out carried out by Site Maintenance provider.
  • Manage the installation & construction of project work packs.
4. Quality & Standards
  • Conduct regular site audits of the contractors & sub-contractors to ensure compliance of Site Procedures.
5. Contract Management
  • Participate in weekly Project Progress meetings with Contractors and Sub Contractors.
  • Ensure Contractors & Sub Contractors comply with the permit to work system.
  • Encourage near miss reporting by all construction personnel.n/[9
  • Punch out completed work packs to ensure compliance before hand over to the commissioning team.
6. Programme
  • Provide input to and management of project programme.
7. Costs
  • Provide input to and management of project costs.
8. People
  • May be required to be responsible for and manage certain projects and project teams.
9. Other
  • Attend team progress meetings.
  • Attend MAF reviews.
