Job Title:- CHEMICAL TECHNICIAN

Location:-
SAU, DAMMAM

Role Summary:-
• Transporting, loading, and unloading chemical products and raw materials.
• Drumming out products from reactors and blenders.
• Collecting product samples and delivering them to the QC lab for analysis.
• Analyzing samples for required QC tests (viscosity & specific gravity tests)
• Blending/ production operations (PPT, CRAFT, etc)


Essential Responsibilities:-
• Transporting, loading, and unloading chemical products and raw materials.
• Drumming out products from reactors and blenders.
• Collecting product samples and delivering them to the QC lab for analysis.
• Analyzing samples for required QC tests (viscosity & specific gravity tests)
• Blending/ production operations (PPT, CRAFT, etc)
• Acquiring basic computer skills
• Assisting in the collection, labeling and disposal of waste
• Maintains assigned work location and production tools/equipment with operating specifications
• Reads and interprets bills of material, blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements
• Conducts mechanical inspections
• Configure test stations and systems
• Facilitate third-party repair of equipment when required
• Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems. Analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems
• Ensure all work orders or production orders are completed with documentation in associated systems
• Perform data entry into respective systems timely and accurately
• Communicate production delays to Production Planner timely
• Troubleshoot tool, equipment or process failures with MFG Engineering Team
• Install, maintain, and repair internal plant and facilities equipment to ensure mechanical integrity.
• Maintains and repairs production equipment including but not limited to pumps, valves, gauges, lines, compressors, reactors, regulators, instruments, etc.
• Performs work in areas such as welding, HVAC, insulation, instrumentation, electricity, etc.
• Utilizes computer to track work and to analyze trends in problems and repairs
• Maintains certifications
• May work indoors or outdoors year round in all types of weather conditions


Qualifications/Requirements:
5-10 years of relevant experience
Hold an associate diploma or technical degree in chemicals or relevant.
Chemicals background or experience is preferred.
Have good knowledge of quality tests/inspections and always comply with HSE regulations
Display strong written and oral English & communication skills
Have sound decision making & problem-solving skills
