About our client:

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded electrical engineering services company and renowned for delivering high-quality high voltage and medium voltage design solutions across industries such as mining, utilities, and heavy industry. They are now seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team in Gladstone.

Job Description:

This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with expertise across a wide range of projects, HV design, and analysis skills to step into a pivotal role within a reputable engineering consultancy. You’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle, working with clients to develop innovative power system solutions that meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review electrical designs for power distribution, substations, and industrial applications
  • Perform load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and protection coordination studies.
  • Manage projects from feasibility and design to execution and commissioning.
  • Work with transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and other critical HV/MV components.
  • Ensure designs adhere to Australian regulations and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Requirements:
  • RPEQ status is an advantage
  • Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineering Degree
  • Experience with mining, utilities, and heavy industry projects
  • HV/MV design experience.
