Our client is a well-established and highly regarded electrical engineering services company and renowned for delivering high-quality high voltage and medium voltage design solutions across industries such as mining, utilities, and heavy industry. They are now seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team in Gladstone.
Job Description:
This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with expertise across a wide range of projects, HV design, and analysis skills to step into a pivotal role within a reputable engineering consultancy. You’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle, working with clients to develop innovative power system solutions that meet the highest industry standards.

Job Description:

You’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle, working with clients to develop innovative power system solutions that meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review electrical designs for power distribution, substations, and industrial applications
- Perform load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and protection coordination studies.
- Manage projects from feasibility and design to execution and commissioning.
- Work with transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and other critical HV/MV components.
- Ensure designs adhere to Australian regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- RPEQ status is an advantage
- Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineering Degree
- Experience with mining, utilities, and heavy industry projects
- HV/MV design experience.
- Salary up to $160,000 + Superannuation
- Attainable Bonus Scheme
- Annual Salary review
