Aker Solutions in Oslo are now looking for Electrical Engineers to strengthen their team.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Electrical system design for one or more Greenfield projects
- Development of the PDCS and power management philosophy
- Interface towards instrumentation, SAS and Technical Safety groups and take responsibility for developing and overseeing implementation of the ESD and ignition source control philosophy
- Development of the emergency and essential generator re-acceleration sequences
- Development of the black start procedure
- General electrical system deliverables such as electrical load lists, single line diagrams and block diagrams
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- At least 5 years’ work experience as an electrical engineer within relevant industries like oil & gas/energy, marine etc.
- Experience in system design and calculations and/or experience as a package responsible engineer for electrical equipment
- Solid experience with PDCS/PMS
- Familiarity with NORSOK standards
- Knowledge of PIMS is an advantage
- Fluency in written and spoken English
