Our team in Aberdeen are now looking for an Electrical Technician (onshore) Level 3 to be based at the Kirkhill Industrial Estate, Dyce, Aberdeen.
Mechanical and electrical assembly of Subsea Electronic Modules, Subsea Control Modules and Gas compression bottles in accordance with drawings, procedures and risk assessments.
Soldering complying to J-Standard.
Wiring including Stripping, Crimping, Dressing, and forming of wires in compliance with IPC 620.
Insulation Resistance Testing and Flash Testing.
Gas pressure testing, Vacuum Testing, and Hyperbaric testing.
Operation of Overhead Crane.
Utilizing in house software and simulators to carry out Factory Acceptance Testing of completed Subsea Electronic Modules and Subsea Control Modules.
E.S.S. Testing (Environmental Stress Screening) using Environmental Chambers and Vibration Table.
Gas Pressure Testing and Vacuum Testing.
Includes the use of DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Current Clamps, Insulation Resistance Testers, Flash Testers, and Mass Spectrometers.
Flexible with regard to working hours.
Health and Safety awareness
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Have previous experience and ability to interpret drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics and fault find/report as required.
Carry out tasks in accordance with Company standards, procedures and specifications in an efficient manner.
