Job Summary:
The Electrical Fabrication Technician is responsible for performing specialized conduit bending, cable tray fabrication, and electrical wiring installations. This role requires proficiency with industry-standard equipment and adherence to precise fabrication and installation protocols within shelter environments. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret wiring schematics, and a commitment to maintaining a consistent, punctual work schedule.

The Electrical Fabrication Technician is responsible for performing specialized conduit bending, cable tray fabrication, and electrical wiring installations. This role requires proficiency with industry-standard equipment and adherence to precise fabrication and installation protocols within shelter environments. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret wiring schematics, and a commitment to maintaining a consistent, punctual work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduit Fabrication:
- Bend conduits using Greenlee Benders for sizes ranging from ¾” to 2-1/2”.
- Measure, cut, and level materials accurately to ensure precise installations.
- Utilize the RIDGID 535 Threading Machine for conduit threading operations.
- Cable Tray and Unistrut Installations:
- Fabricate cable trays to meet project requirements.
- Install Unistrut systems on shelters with precision.
- Electrical Wiring and Termination:
- Execute 120/208V electrical wiring installations.
- Perform control wire terminations and terminate circuit breakers/switches.
- Conduct high voltage (480V) transformer terminations.
- Install analyzers and other associated electrical components within shelter environments.
- General Fabrication:
- Complete junction box installations and other related fabrication tasks.
- Work Schedule:
- Adhere to a punctual schedule, working from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
