Our Clients' Controls System & Product Engineering department is responsible for design and development of next-generation subsea control systems, electrical actuators, condition and performance monitoring and electrification of subsea products.  The department consists of a Mechatronics team which is responsible for the mechanical, electronics and software aspects of the Subsea controls portfolio. 
We are now looking for a Senior Engineer - Electrical / Electronic to join the team in Aberdeen. 
You will be responsibilities and tasks include:
Provide product support to internal and external customers.
Provide engineering support to suppliers of product components.
Execute sustainment scopes for supported products.
Perform fault analysis and diagnostics on supported products.
Raise and execute continuous improvement suggestions for supported products.
Be part of the team defining the design and components to support the product requirements.
Develop products according to the requirements and quality demands.
Manage obsolescence issues raised on supported products.

what we think you should have :
BEng or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.  Newly graduated candidates are also encouraged to apply.
HND with demonstratable practical experience.
Relevant Electrical / Electronic Engineering experience, preferably within Subsea, aerospace, medical or other similar high availability / reliability applications.
Experience in the ability to carry out all elements of electrical/electronic system design involving material selection, calculations and component specification.
Schematic capture and PCB layout experience using suitable tools (i.e. Altium Designer) would be advantageous.
