The role is full-time, and it offers a favourable salary and benefits package.
The Power Marketing department is responsible for the ongoing monitoring of global energy markets, developing all required market analyses, evaluating company market risk exposure, identifying new opportunities and originating relationships with potential energy buyers. Within the Energy Management team, the Energy Market Analysis Manager will have a broad range of responsibilities spanning global energy market analysis and providing analytical insights to the business.
In your first few weeks in this Energy Market Analysis Manager role, you can expect to:
• Provide global energy market expertise and analysis to the company with high visibility
to all levels in the company
• Maintain market consultant relationships and evaluate the underlying assumptions in their
price forecasts
• Develop revenue modelling capabilities for the company's assets, including storage and
hybrid portfolios
• Analyze the performance of the asset hedging portfolio
• Handle data management of all Power Marketing team price curves and external
consultant assumptions.
To apply for this Energy Market Analysis Manager role, you will need at least 3 years of experience in Energy Market analysis positions, ideally focused on renewables. You will also require detailed knowledge of global power markets and their key drivers. In addition, you should have modelling and programming capabilities with an advanced focus on storage.
