Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
Aker Solutions is now looking for an Engineer - Piping Isometric Checker with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Stord.

Aker Solutions is now looking for an Engineer - Piping Isometric Checker with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Stord.
Position Responsibilities:
- Check that the building method is implemented in the piping fabrication engineering.
- Verify that Construction Friendly Design FC-30103-W08-000-EN has been considered in the 3D-model.
- Responsible for the quality and punctuality of own deliveries based on plans and procedures / routines established in the project.
- Checking of Fabrication Isometric Drawing in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of procedures and routine in the piping group.
- Fabrication ISO Drawings shall be checked with focus on:
- 3D model
- P&ID's
- Line list
- Materials-spec.
- Fabrication Method
- Test Definition
- Construction Friendly Design
- Verify interface inside own discipline (test, pipe support and work package).
- Verify interface against all disciplines (EIT, mechanical, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), subcontractors, production and planning department.
- Contribute with Continual improvements work.
- Bachelor’s or technical degree. Relevant experience can compensate lack of degree.
- Experience in design and drawing production.
- Good knowledge of the piping design and process plant from offshore projects.
- Relevant knowledge of procedures, material and requirements.
- Equipment understanding (operation, maintenance considerations and operational considerations).
- Mastering 3D-CAD tools and have generally good knowledge of basic computing.
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbally and written language.
