Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to join their team as the Engineering Manager. This leadership role will play a pivotal part in overseeing and optimizing the company's operations, ensuring efficient project management, and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. You will have the unique opportunity to join a team of senior leaders with backgrounds from major owner operators and take the best-in-class technical expertise to provide exceptional full turn-key services to the Oil & Gas industry.

As the Engineering Manager in our Upstream Drilling EPCM division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering and design processes, ensuring the seamless integration of projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled engineers and designers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support for professional development, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of client needs.
  • Act as a technical advisor, providing expertise and insights to clients on engineering solutions and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering strategies aligned with company goals and industry advancements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the quality and compliance of engineering deliverables with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold the company's reputation for excellence.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, or related field).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the oil and gas industry, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of oil and gas engineering principles, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in the industry.
