About the role
The ESP Applications Engineer is responsible for the selection, design, installation, and optimization of Electric Submersible Pump systems to ensure efficient and reliable production operations. This role involves close collaboration with clients, field engineers, and other stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support throughout the lifecycle of ESP project.

Essential Responsibilities
• Routine monitoring of all the ESP wells which includes regular tracking of wells operating outside ROR, erratic performance, sanding history, etc.
• Maintain health chart of all the ESPs operating in field.
• Preparation of RCFA reports for failed systems. d. Analysis on nature of failures and recommend suitable solutions to alleviate same.
• Provide initial failure report in case of any failures while installations and any service-related issues, while ESP installation.
• Preparation of Cause and Effect for each ESP well, in consultation with Company’s representative.
• Proper start-up and commissioning of ESP wells.
• Keeping record of trips of the ESPs and highlight the abnormal issues to the company representatives and suggest appropriate action plan for review.
• He/ she shall provide required analyses and optimization of the ESP well and lift systems for weekly reviews, compile and graph downloaded sensor and surface equipment data for weekly reviews, prepare and provide reports of ESP well performance for weekly reviews.
• Shall be responsible for the optimization reports, designs, delivery status of the equipment and shall be able to answer queries with respect to the operational aspects of ESPs.

To be successful 
• B.Tech in Petroleum / Electrical/CSE or relevant discipline
• At least 8 years of dedicated ESP experience out of which at least 3 years should be international experience.
• Application Engineer should be well versed with PMM & IM VFD and other surface equipment provided by the contractor as well as surface equipment of other contractors.
• Trained in all aspects of the Contractor’s equipment.
• Fully conversant and familiar with the operations, installation, workover and optimization of ESP. He should have expertise in trouble shooting, diagnosis and fault analysis of ESP system.
• Adequate computer skill in Contractor’s ESP sizing software.
• Competent with the reporting and stock management requirements of the project.
