Finance Executive - RTR (Shared Services, Oil & Gas)

This role will report directly to the Team Lead (Finance – R2R) in Philippines.

Working closely with finance operations team in Philippines and the regional finance teams, this role will assist with full spectrum of financial accounting recording and reporting for the regional offices, coordinating with other countries in Asia:

  • Prepare and record accounting entries in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP
  • Submit monthly schedules and reporting to regional finance manager in Singapore
  • Support and ensure other entities across Asia fulfilled their statutory requirement
  • Prepare and review Flux reporting for other Asia countries
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities monthly and report to regional finance manager
  • Ensure inter-company and intra-group transactions are booked and reconciled timely
  • Ensure finance governance compliance with local rules and regulations and financial reporting standards
  • Involve and support regional finance projects and initiatives
  • Take charge of several entities full set accounts within Asia
  • Undertake adhoc assignments management may request from time to time

Qualification and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • Professional qualification (e.g. CPA) is preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in Record to Report processes
  • Preferably within BPO or Shared Services industry
  • Prior big 4 accounting firm experience is an added advantage
  • Hands-on experiences of accounting systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a strong plus
  • Good knowledge of IFRS requirements
  • Knowledge of local GAAP and tax requirements in other countries in Asia is an added advantage

  • Ability to work independently as well as with the Team and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-pace environment
  • Good analytical and communication skills are required
  • Good verbal and written proficiency in English
  • Proactive, driven, vigilant and resilient
  • Able to adhere to strict reporting time lines with good quality of deliverable
