NES Fircroft are working with Woodside Energy seeking a Financial Accountant, specializing within the Fixed Asset space.

Job Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Perth CBD
Pay Rate: Negotiable
Flexibility: WFH 2 days per week
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities include:
  • Major and minor project capitalisations
  • Asset transfers / retirements
  • Accounting reserves update for depreciation of offshore assets
  • Useful life review for depreciation of onshore assets
  • Master data clean-up
  • Expenditure disclosures for quarterly ASX and year-end annual report including movement analysis
  • Assist with month-end tasks
  • Other ad-hoc tasks
Experience needed:
  • Accounting professional (Bachelor of Business or equivalent)
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience as a fixed asset accountant
  • Knowledge of SAP would be highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of the Exploration and Production (E&P) lifecycle would behighly regarded
  • Understanding of SOX Compliance will be highly regarded. 
  • Effective communication skills across a broad range of internal finance personnel
  • Positive attitude and Improvement mindset
