About the role
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Laerdal's dynamic financial team. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to play a vital operational role by working in close partnership with our esteemed product teams. Your contributions will provide you with a comprehensive vantage point of our entire business operation. As a key driver of success, you will assume responsibility connected to development of systems and processes. Through these initiatives, you will have an impact on the company's financial control and strategic growth. Some of what you will be doing
- Be in close contact with P&T team leaders to identify, support and prepare financial initiatives and monitor the implementation and effectiveness
- Prepare monthly financial reports, performance dashboards and KPIs to monitor financial development
- Conduct cost analysis to identify cost drivers and trends within operational processes
- Participate in the development, implementation and execution of budget and forecast processes
- Key support person regarding financial management of projects and activities, including following up on budget process and cost controlling
- Assist with the development and implementation of new systems and automation of processes
Who we envision would fit the role - 1-4 years of experience working as a consultant (auditor) to or in a finance department or equivalent
- Master’s degree within Business Administration/ Economics, or Bachelor's degree with extended level of experience
- Data modeling skills, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI proficiency
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
