GIS Data Administrator – 4 Months Contract – Pau, France
Essential:- Must be able to communicate in French and English. Advanced expertise in geomatics and geographic data management. GIS expertise (Geoserver, ESRI platform: ArcGIS Pro, Arcmap, Portal for ArcGIS). Programming expertise (Python/SQL). Experience of supporting and migrating GIS to Cloud
Regular on-site presence (especially at the beginning of the contract is required)
GIS Data Administrator role will entail.
The service will be carried out within an entity in charge of geospatial subjects (Topography
/Geodesy, GIS, Remote Sensing, Drone). The mission will be carried out within the data squad of this
entity whose mission, among other things, is to offer expertise and support for manipulation,
storage and web publishing of Geospatial data. The Geospatial entity undertakes a
Migrating its ecosystem to the cloud. It is in this context that this service is proposed to organize and prioritize the sequencing of our Move to Cloud in terms of data and
WebGIS applications to migrate.

- List the different WebGIS applications to migrate to our new Cloud platform. By prioritizing
- List all dependencies for each of these applications (data sources, geoprocessing widget/toolbar.)
- Analyse the use of data on filers and in the Postgre database.
- List the data to be migrated and their dependencies.
- List and complete metadata related to these applications, maps and data.
- Propose a sequencing of migrations in collaboration with the different parties’ stakeholders (Owners of applications and data, team in charge of these applications and data, cloud team.).
- Migration plan detailing the applications, data and processes to be migrated with identification.
- Project Management expertise
- Advanced expertise in geomatics and geographic data management
- GIS expertise (Geoserver, ESRI platform: ArcGIS Pro, Arcmap, Portal for ArcGIS)
