Our client is an international Independent Power Producer (IPP), with ownership of several hundred megawatts of operational wind energy in Poland and a significant pipeline of Photovoltaic (PV), Wind, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects under development.
 
Job Description:
 
We are seeking an experienced Grid Manager to manage own Distribution Network Operator (DNO). This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Grid Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of the grid to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Supervision over all necessary grid modernizations.
Reviewing Grid Connection Applications: Evaluate applications for grid connection, ensuring they meet all necessary criteria and regulations.
Issuing Grid Connection Permits: Grant permits for grid connection following a thorough review and assessment of applications.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular contact with external stakeholders, including the Transmission System Operator (TSO), other DNOs, and external investors. This involves facilitating communication, resolving issues, and fostering strong working relationships.

Qualifications:
 
Proven experience in grid management and operations.
Experience in power flow analysis and good command of proper software. 
Strong knowledge of grid connection processes and regulations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
