The primary role of the Group Finance Lead is to support the client business expansion by developing a strategic finance and supply chain to help deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth. You will be responsible for leading the Finance, Procurement and Warehouse teams in ensuring deliverables in these areas are met. Key elements of this role will be the development of financial goals, analyzing financial systems and controls, analyzing and issuing reports on operational results of various companies with the group and advising on matters relating to Accounting, Finance, Investments and Budgets. You are expected to develop Key Performance
Indicators by which the business can be measured against best practice in the business competitively as well as strategically. You will provide strategic oversight in the management of new and existing clients’ requirements and contracts, effective supply chain management whilst ensuring that HSEQ standards, processes and procedure are complied with. As an integral part of the Senior Team, the job holder will work closely maintaining excellent working relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers, responsible for all aspects of payment related activities against client requirements, ensuring budgeted margins are delivered.
The Group Finance Lead comprises three main areas: Reporting and maintenance of accounting records • Accountablity for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with international financial reporting standards. Treasury Management • To assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilisation of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company. Business Partnering • Act as a business partner to the senior managers and budget holders, providing professional advice and
proactively working with them to resolve any concerns or difficulties with their financial performance.

Educated to a post graduate Degree level (preferably in Business Management ( specialization in Finance) and / or Supply Chain Management) and a qualification at advanced practitioner level of ACCA/CIMA/CPA . CIPS certification will also be a great asset.
A minimum of 10 years’ organizational/business development experience and 5 years’ experience within a similar operational role, preferably in Finance with some level of commercial expertise. Experience in the oil and gas or oil and gas service industry will be an asset.
Ability to demonstrate a track record of delivery within the Finance, Supply Chain and Warehousing functions, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector.Strong analytical skills and a track record of effectively working all office tools is essential as is the ability to understand and manage budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
Experiencing in managing and building effective teams. Must be fluent in English (local language). A strong set of personal values which match those of the organisation and the vision of the business are essential.

5. Roles and Responsibilities:
Core responsibility
Reporting and maintenance of accounting records
- Ownership and financial technical authority of the Group’s entity
- Monitor and manage month end close process ensuring reporting is achieved in line with the group timetable
- Find ways to shorten the reporting cycle and improve the reporting quality via improved process and systems
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements (inc. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statement and supporting schedules for all balances)
- Coordinate monthly reviews of financials with the Executive management team
- Prepare and issue monthly financial board report to shareholders
- Consolidate and manage annual budget process and any reforecasting that is undertaken
- Prepare audit pack and act as focal Point for annual external audit
- Ensure timely and accurate capture of data, submission of returns and payment of all taxation e.g. VAT, Corporation tax, PAYE etc.
- Identify and implement improvements into the existing financial processes
- Liaise with Chief Accountant to ensure transactions are being processed accurately and on a timely basis
- Ensure Financial Authority Matrix (FAM) is updated and approved for any changes in the business structure
- Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies
- Contribute to innovation in new technology, and in particular support the continued development of our ERP software
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Management, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil the request
- Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow
- Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions
- Prepare and monitor company long term cash flow forecasts
- Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies
- Manage relationships with financial service providers
- Monitor and report compliance with debt covenants
- Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues
- Recommend, implement and maintain process controls and improvements
- Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
- Provide meaningful insights into key performance indicators, while cooperating with stakeholders to improve process compliance and efficiency
- Participate in tender pricing, as required
- Capital expenditure appraisal • Spervision of Accounts team including: o Setting and coordinating their daily and monthly tasks
Supply Chain Management and Warehousing
- Development of local supply chain with approval authority subject to Delegation of Authority limits
- Price benchmarking to ensure we are competitive including Client Analysis and identification of market needs
- Approval of content for all supplier agreements
- Maintain effective relationships with Clients, Supplier and Internal Stakeholders at all levels.
- Maintain relationships with colleagues and Group Board of Directors and offer information/completion for strategic projects and business plans
- Maintain effective relationships with Business Managers, Procurement Team Lead, Buyers and Warehouse Lead by offering escalated assistance in one off sourcing
- Identification of opportunities to reduce transactional costs and vendors
