Group lead Flare and Process Safety

- You will as a Group lead for the Flare and Process Safety report to the Process Discipline Lead.
- You will lead a team of 5-6 Process engineers and be responsible for the deliverables and quality for this team.
- Sizing of all PSVs / PSE (rupture discs)
- Sizing of flare lines (using Unisim Flare)
- Heat Radiation simulations by means of Flaresim
- Blowdown simulations
- Safety Analysis Tables (API RP 14C) and issuing of report
- Issuing of Process Safety Report, Flare Report, Blowdown Report, Process Design Report
- Input to Process Shutdown Hierarchy and working closely with automation
- Developing flare, vent and closed drain P&IDs
- Participating and solving hazop actions
- Filling out engineering information register (e.g. linelist)
- Process data sheets
- Follow up and checking of vendor documents
- Working closely with other disciplines
- You shall ensure that the team secures the overall functionality of the process safety systems
- Support engineers to perform detail design according to plan.
- Identify need for meetings and reviews.
- Resource planning
- Participate in HAZOP and reviews

Qualifications:
- MSc or BSc with required experience
- Minimum 8 years working experience from engineering (FEED and/or detail engineering)
- Working experience with Greenfield or Brownfield projects on NCS or Norwegian onshore O&G facilities
- Working experience as Process discipline/group lead
- Working experience within Flare/Process Safety
- Establish good relations with the Client
- Solution oriented

- Good communication skills
- Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
- Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
- Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing
